Not only is this beautiful pastel a true and accurate likeness of our lovely Mary Otieku but it was also hand delivered by this amazing artist Mandar. in commemoration of her award as Teacher of the Year 2018 for AUSD Alameda Unified School District. She was very touched and surprised that her 4th and 5th grade class honored her with such a thoughtful gift. And her surprise and elation were amplified by being presented by the artist himself! The rendering on the Etsy page does not do it justice seeing the gorgeous vibrant colors in person. Thank you Mandar for this awesome piece which will be treasured for generations! Amazing work!
